Dale Jr wanted to do the Jr. Motorsports deal on his own. If you remember, he had Chance2 Motorsports with Teresa. He also thought that the RCR motors would be more reliable (which they have been).

He runs RCR engines because his deal with the Navy came through very quickly. He approached DEI for engines, but they could not support him quick enough to put a team together, so he cut a deal with RCR for engine support.

Which would YOU choose?? RCR or DEI. Look at this season alone! 2 DEI engines blew in Cali, 2 at LV testing. How often does an RCR engine blow up? Rarely!

Not sure about Sunday Money, but The reason JR M runsRCR engines is they are better engines. I look for Jr to jump ship in 2008.

I thought DEI ran their own engines too....unless they switched this year, but I didn't hear anything about it if they did.
