You can SAY what ever you like. The tree is known by its fruit.

Jesus said, "Why do you call me Lord, yet not do what I command?"

Well that's a very good question. Becuase in the old days they believed they were superior to all other races. Actually the discovery channel covered the whole story about the KKK and it groups. Even rising to power with supporter in the White House. As well as hating black people at one time the KKK, also discriminated against Jews, Catholics and other non-Prodestent cultures. They weren't originally Christians they were Prodestents. If you'd like more information, like I said The History Channel covered the story and the background of the KKK. If you really need that info search in the link I gave below. Have a Great Day.

I can't answer your specific question but I will say this:

No one who preaches hatred is a Christian, no matter what symbol they use to make it look like they are Christian.

I would guess that back in the old Bible belt days of the south, appealing to Christian white people by using this scam was probably one of the ways they used to gain support from the locals.

They can claim to be christian because they have twisted christian believes (or maybe not) to fit their personal ideology. In retrospect, they have only done what many other hate groups, and non-hate groups have done. To set a popular belief to ones own beliefs is to empower the individual or group. Fortunetly, most disagree with their proposterous ideology and do not sanction such ignorant and abhorrent behavior. However, as with all paople, they have their rights, so we can not infringe. Yet, maybe we should?

No. it truly is no longer genuine. it truly is KKK's slant on issues. This u . s . became in line with own freedoms for all, on Christian concepts yet with religious freedoms. The white supremacists of the time were those who depending the KKK. They were paranoid. They were afraid that the presence different cultures could "water down" their own. and they attempt to save racism alive right this moment. i wish and praying that we are able to all, faster or later, study a thanks to love and tolerate one yet another, embody our similarities, study from the adjustments, and get rid of racist hate communities all jointly. they are completely out of date.

The KKK also hates and threatens, Pagans, Roman Catholics, Jews, Gays, Lesbians, Mexicans, Muslims and Mormons.

The KKK is strictly a Protestant terror organization. However, they'll tell you what wonderful thing being a Christian is---sounds familiar, doesn't it.

They say they "light" the cross, not burn it. Since when is Christianity incompatible with hateful separatist doctrines? It's a hateful, divisive belief system in the first place.
