heres the thing about 3 years ago i couldnt take my friends and family calling me chubby and telling me that i was getting fat! i have always been skinny and took it hurtful when they said i was getting ugly and fat at the time i didnt think they were kidding but after a few years later i found out they were. i mean yes i did gain weight but it made me look more healthy. so any ways well i was offended and i was determined to loose that "weight" and b back to my normal self.

That summer i decided to only eat 1 meal a day for the whole summer vacation. i was only 14 and i would go out and do stuff witrh friends. i began to notice that i beacme weaker and would faint alot. i lost way to much weight by the end of the summer and my body basically started to not allow me to gain weight after i decided to get some muscle. ever since then i have had an extreamly hard time gaining waight! i eat so much now its not even funny! and still to this day people think i have an eating disorder.

You need to talk to your doctor and tell all. I think that you are going to need a little bit of help. Don't say no out of embarrassment, everyone needs some help at one time or another

I think you're not being honest with yourself. If you still eat a lot and hanvent gained anything you may be diabetic or have a thyroid disorder, so go get it checked it.
I think the first problem with anorexia is denial. people deny that they have a problem and say that they eat all the time. I think you have an eating disorder if you fixate a lot on food. and if your day is spent thinking too much about food even if its thinking about everything you should eat. Eating is a healthy part of life you should enjoy eating three meals a day and not worrying so much about it. It seems like you care a lot about how others view you and that can influence you a lot. I would say that you should think about your health first. Eat healthy foods all day and stay away from junk food. dont concern yourself too much with how much you weigh and dont think about it too much. I think you might enjoy getting attention for being thin and maybe you think thats an important part of who you are. I think its important to look healthy. you should try to eat to enjoy what you are eating and to give your body the nutrients it needs. dont eat more than you have to or less. just focus on eating well, working out, and taking care of other thinsg that make stand out. I'm sure you have many other great qualities so dont worry too much about your weight.

i think the fact that you only ate 1 MEAL during summer vacation certainly changed your metabolism. the fact that you are unable to gain ne more weight doesnt sound very good. id suggest going to see your doctor and ask he/she if there is any way you could help fix your health situation. just try to eat healthily not over the top. you might be able to eat and eat and eat but that isnt right to work your body like that. eat three square meals a day and a light snack and drink A LOT of water. good luck :]

You did have an eating disorder and most likely still do seeing as how they are life-long diseases. Go see a counselor and a nutritionist. You will need help getting on the right track and it could take upwards of ten years. Let your friends and family know that joking or not, their comments were damaging to your health and self-image.

Yes, you have an eating disorder. When you were only eating 1 meal a day, and had all those symptoms, that's clear that you were anorexic. Even though you eat a ton now, you could still be anorexic or leading onto Bulimia. Please, try to tell an adult and they can help you. Good luck in the future!

I mean really who cares what other people think that was your first problem....specially if it was friends and family...i mean is there something wrong in there heads to make a family member or friend think they are overweight....i mean who ever they are should really think about what they say before they say it because those are the only people you can turn to when you have a problem, so maybe you should look for new friends and disown your family...

Its your motabolism most likely, When you change your eating habbits your motabolism adapts. When you stopped eating so much your body had to learn to deal with only getting one meal a day and spreading it out.
Go to a doctor or dietician to get them to help you work out the best way to gain some weight

hey
no, youre not anorexic. anorexia is a psychological disorder in which a person thinks he is overweight when he isn't. just remember, dont starve yourself anymore, it can have long term health effects. friends and family and people around us are soemtimes hurtful without meaning too, but i hope no one ever hurts your self esteem like that again, and even if you are/were too chubby or too skinny - so what? as long as you are comfortable with yourself, what other peopletry to say about you is meaningless.

check out these websites ok? im sure they will help
