Perhaps all the food she tries is good.
Or she's good at acting...

Rachel Ray is a TV personality. She is NOT a chef.

You might as well ask Jerry Springer for his culinary advice.

The entire show -- food, locations, guests -- are all vetted before taping begins. Nothing Rachel dislikes or is allergic to is included in the program.

Rachel is perky. That's what she sells. If you like Rachel Ray, you probably watch the CBS News because you like your news delivered by saccharine-sweet Katie Couric.

Personally, I like some of the other Food TV hosts (and, yes, some of them are very willing to say they don't like the foods they eat -- Alton Brown's recent four-part series, "Feasting on Asphalt" is a good example).

Food Network had a reality show and they addressed that aspect of being a tv personality. You're supposed to convey that it's an enjoyable experience, so part of it is acting (exaggerating your reaction) to give that added point.

She's acting & is quite bad at it!!
If you notice she starts rolling her eyes & going mmmm before she even starts chewing.
Of course she could have tried to eat it before she made it.
Doubtful though.
Foodtv could have signed her up for some acting lessons before they decided on putting her on, what's the count now....oh yea like 20 times a day!

I don't think it would be good for ratings if she didn't like something
I'm sure there are things that she doesn't like but just has to be nice
and say good things about the food
Do you also notice how she takes dainty little bites so she doesn't
look crude? lol

Real foodies like Rachel Ray can't practically tell by smelling if it is going to be good. Foodies love just about everything and will try everything..

I know, I'm a foodie....LOVE to cook and LOVE to eat.....

I always wondered the same thing. I think she does it to portray a positive image. Sometimes it seems like she has a disgusted look on her face, but she says she likes it

All food stars do that. It's just so people will want to make it more, so they will watch her show more, and therefore, more publicity. But who knows, maybe they really are that good. Her peppersteak recipe is THE BOMB!

No, it is because she would pretend to like it whether it tasted good or not.
