YOU NEED TO GO SEE A DENTIST. OVER HERE YOU WILL GET CONFLICTING AND INCORRECT DIAGNOSES OBVIOUSLY COS WE CANT SEE THE CLINICAL PICTURE. THIS WILL JUST STRESS YOU MORE. JUST GO SEE A DENTIST SO YOU KNOW WHAT THESE ARE FOR SURE.

If they are not painful then they are almost certainly not canker sores, which are very painful and rarely on the tongue. It sounds a bit like candidiasis but you would have to have a dentist take a look, who may refer you to a specialist in oral medicine. Don't be scared, but do go in soon to have a professional look at it. This forum isn't the place to get a diagnosis.

THESE ARE NOT CANKER SORES, THOSE HURT, AND YOU WOULDN'T HAVE MANY OF THESE. THE LOCATION OF THESE SPEAKS OF TASTE BUDS.
SO, WHY ARE THEY RED AND WHITE?
THESE SMALL BUMPS ARE IRRITATED TASTE BUDS WHICH NORMALLY ARE PINKISH AND ARE SLIGHTLY RAISED OVER THE SURFACE OF THE TONGUE.

kankersours. I dont think I spelled that right..but you need to brush your teeth after every meal. its just bacteria that formed underneath the skin in your mouth because you didnt brush your teeth...and rinse out with listerine too.
