where is the best place to get a tattoo in austin, tx?

i live about two hours from austin and i plan on getting my first tattoo in austin. i have plans on getting an angel on my back (lots of shading and detail on the wings), a heart with three daggers through it, and a nautical star. i'm thinking i'm going to get the star or heart first. who would be the best artist and which shop?

Do you research first cause that stuff is permenant such as online and call around or just go to a shop one day and look at other peoples tattoo when theyre in there getting it done to see for yourself.

I just wanted to tell you that I got a tatoo about six years ago (18 at the time) and now I wish I didn't EVER get it. At the time of getting the tatoo I thought that this is something I wouldn't mind having forever, but, forever is a LLLOOONNNGGG time! Piercings can be removed, but tatoos cannot. Look at Angelina Jolie, even she cant get that ugly Billy Bob Thorton tatoo taken off her arm and she has tried her hardest. Sorry I didn't answer your question, but I just wanted to share my experience with you.

i dunno i dont live there but dont just go to any shop go to a reputable one good luck
