Depends... does the student want to protect himself or the pervert teacher? I believe the student should expose the truth, so the teacher can be punished, after all, what he has done IS wrong, and it's worse that he is denying it, but in the end, it is the student's decision, so I ask again: does the student want to protect himself, or the pervert teacher?

In this scenario the teacher is an adult predator. The 17yo student is his victim, period.

The criminal teacher knows the consequences of his actions, that is why he has his cover story prepared, & he is blaming his victim. He also chose his victim very carfully, & groomed his victim to feel responsible for what he has done, to the point where the victim will try to protect his attacker from the consequences of his crime.

This 17yo victim is totally blameless in this case because he was cleverly manipulated by this pedophile. That is what pedophiles do, they gain the confidence of their victims, & then confuse them to the point that the victim feels responsible for the well being of his attacker. He will feel that if he reports the criminal that HE will be the cause of the teacher having to lose his job, & possibly face criminal prosecution.

The fact is, it is the teacher who is responsible for his own actions, & the pickle that his actions have put him in, not the victim for reporting what has happened.

The truth is always the best route to take in cases like this.
Remember, if the teacher is allowed to go on unchecked he will very likely victimize more students in the future.
Does this person in your story want to take on the responsibility of that? Can he face the possibility that there will be more victims, & HE could have put a stop to it NOW instead of later?

So no, this person should not go along with the teachers story. It's a pretty lame excuse anyway, & I bet no one is believing it.
This 17yo you are talking about has the courage within him to tell the truth, all he needs is the right encouragement. ;-)

Tell the truth. You could get in trouble for harassment. Also if the teacher cared about the student then he would have told the truth. Continue the relationship after the student gets out of school to avoid legal reprecussions

tough call. tell on him. No teacher should be having a reationship with a student. They are supposed to be your teacher and in an authority position so it probably should be mentioned to stop it happening again especially if hes that immature to accuse the student of stalking

The teacher is guilty of pedophilia and perversion. He is not living up to his professional duties. He could be fired, fined and sent to jail. It happened here recently. If he is lying about you, you must tell the truth. This is a very sick situation.

i say tell the truth to hell with the teacher man they knew what they were doing was wrong and still did it anyway why let them make it bad for someone else man make it bad for them i say come its adult versus minor they look at these and tend to favour the minor in most cases anyway

well the RIGHT thing to do is to confess. And yes it is wrong for a student and teacher to have relationship. Even if he is legal age. Why?

Cuz ITS THEIR FRIGGIN' TEACHER!!!! your not allowed to do that.
