If you have kids who are old enough to not be living in your home and they are not cooperating with your rules give them the ultimatum. If you have kids who are beyond spanking age but not old enough to move out, there are always privileges that can be revoked.

But NEVER spank your children in anger!! Cool off first then do it. People have these bratty kids and complain about them misbehaving yet do nothing to do it. Ok so you remember when you were three and your parents sat you down...told you it was wrong....then made you promise not to do it again? But why oh why did it not work? Because they only heard every third word. Children need bounderies, they need disapline and order in theyre lives. Who are you going to let you raise your children? You? or the Police?

Really I wasnt spanked after 6th grade. And my father always did it because he was calm and collected about it. He never did it in anger. I intend to raise my children the same way.

i dont think u should ever hit ur kid in any way at all but if u must i think once they hit about 7 u should stop because it gets alittle weird when they get older and start to find out the other reasons ppl do it if u know what i mean

nah mate,a light smach doesnt hurt anyone if they deserve it,just make sure that you arnt angry when you smack them(after the child has done wrong,tell him that your angry and that you will smack him in 30 min,cause your to angry,most of the times you want have to smack him,cause he would have learnt his lesson(he would be thinking about what he is going to get).as for the age thing,nah never to old.it just means you might enjoy it when your over 15
