Confidence , self-respect , intelligence, your are too good for him attitude . let him keep wondering if YOU still like him. keep him on his toes, guys like a girl who knows what she wants. Be yourself, because that is what he liked about you to begin with. just keep having fun. don't sweat the small stuff. If it doesn't work out there are plenty of fish in the sea just waiting for you.

At your age, relationships are kind of flat.
Mostly crushes driven by hormones and all that.
Guys your age are probably into a fun time, like a girl who will play games with them or who will, well, just have fun.
I'm sure some kissing fits in there somewhere, along with them finding you attractive.
But, really, it shouldn't matter.
What you should do is be yourself.
If he's starting to shy away, it might be time to end it and just go.
Perfect guys always seem to come to you if you aren't trying to get them.

The ability to connect with him emotionally. Be able to recognize his need to look like "one of the guys" in a group and that be OK with you. If you can relate to what he likes; sports, music, art, literature, that is the best at this age because it gives you a common frame of reference.

Personal integrity, courage to be yourself and not just another girl just like all the others, a sense of humour, compassion,
