I have a Ranger and I have a single 2.5" in coming off the third cat and dual 2" out turned down just before the drive shaft. its loud and throaty and that's with a 50 series flowmaster. Most everyone has 40 series. but to add on some performance add a K&N intake system

From what I have read, if your engine is the 4.0L, a flowmaster 40 with 2.5"pipes sounds really good.

you could put a turbo muffler in it....or run straight pipe to the back & hang a fartcan. tough to make a v-6 sound really good tho. check with your local AutoZone & see if a custom system is available.
