Sorry if this is irrelavant or maybe even useless to you but I thought I'd mention it anyways, there's a well knwon oil from the Andes called Rosa Mosqueta oil which is knwon for healing scars, please see link:

it's £9.99 for 20ml some health shops also sell it.

U could also try fake tan? also I've heard covering with honey is excellent for healing scras (I read somewhere cover with honey & leave overnight for one week).

Here is one product that a friend of mine uses. I am sure there are other brand names; a dermatologist can give you other options if you check with them.

This product is pretty much available in most pharmacies and some department stores, etc. Also, there are several websites online that carry it, and other brands.

Dermablend® Compact Cover Crème is great for those who prefer using a sponge application.Plus, the convenient compact is great for carrying in purse for touch-ups! Provides the same flawless coverage for scars, birthmarks, vitiligo, age spots, or for a perfect makeup foundation everyday. Dermablend® Compact Cover Crème is suitable for all skin types.
Once Cover Crème is properly set, Dermablend® can be worn while swimming, exercising, and even showering - unless the activity is extremely vigorous or soap or cleanser is used.
