Gone to sleep at the end of the day. Believe me it's cute to see them quietly sleeping, after a long frustrating noisy day.

We're currently still in the adjustment to the toddler bed phase. My daughter (20 months) still gets up occasionally once or twice before finally settling down to sleep. But when I hear her, all I have to do is walk up to the baby gate in her doorway and look at her and then she runs back to her bed and hides under the covers. It's adorable. She also can sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" but it's not very clear and comes out a little funny sometimes...and is one of the cutest things she's done to date.

Well, this is a little distorted--I don't have a kid, I'm only 16. So, this is what I did once.
Every year, my family and I go on vacation. I was three or four, and we went to Myrtle Beach, SC. Well, every kid asks questions at that age. Why? Why? Why? about EVERYTHING! My parents were in the front of our van and I was in the middle of the back seat. I could hear everything they said, and asked "Why?" to everything.
Well, my mom was getting very tired of this, and I can't say I blame her. Spending 14 hours in a van with a toddler tried her patience. She finally said, "Can't you say anything other than 'WHY'?"
My response: "Z?"
Do you get it? Sounds like "Can't you say anything other than Y". I was just learning tha alphabet.
Was it any good? True story.

The other night my son (4 years) was eating his dinner. When he was done he told me how delicious it was and that he was really full. 10 minutes later he came in the kitchen and asked me for an ice cream bar. I said, "You just told me you were really full." His response..."I think I have room right here by my hip for an ice cream sandwich" It was so cute.
He also sings the University of Wyoming school song. Very cute.
He has also asked why ice cream sandwiches have holes on the sandwich part and why water looks like it is bouncing when a rain drop falls in a puddle.

I have 2 talking children and 1 too little to talk, and there are so many to list here, I'll tell you the cute words that my son and daughter have used that were so funny. My son DJ when he was 3 loved The Lion King, he called 2 of the main characters Tothemoon and pumba! Instead of Timon. My daughter who is 4 just recently stopped calling her legs yegs.
Another one, when my son was also 4, he was fishing with his dad on a river with a dam near them... he said to his father "Dad I bet over there it's damn cold!" That has to be the funniest thing when he was little. A few months ago, he is now 11 we were trying to get our dog to not destroy her squeaky in 10 seconds flat, and he said," hey you in the brown coat, step away from the squeaky". I nearly wet my pants!

My daughter who is 18 months old says and does cute things on a daily basis... Today my mother asked her to share her juice and she hollared No in a mean way.. My mom asked her why and she said Cuz there no more juice... Guess you had to be there.. lol
Her daddy has also taught her to say zip it and he tried to teach her to take her fingers and pretend to zip her lip, lock and throw away the key.. Well she does all this but instead of putting her fingers to her mouth she puts it to her nose, hehe.
And my nephew(3) had to go potty and come back after about 15 minutes and when asked if he pooped he said No, my butt ain't acting right :)

When my daughter was a youngster she had the task of briefly staying with a neighbor's 2 yr old while the mother ran an errand. She later said to me, "Daddy, babies are no good". I said, Why not? She replied. "Because they become 2".
