okk i have been trying to lose weight for 3 weeks...nothing helped...i jog for 40mins walk for 1 hour n excersice a little...and eat less...but i still didnt lose any weight...n i dont look slim either...btw i heard during period you gain weight and after its done you lose weight....and it always happens to me but this time i gained weight but im not losing it.....why?? my periods just over today...do you think itll take some time if so then how many days?? and what can i do to lose weight?? ma bdayz comin in 4dayss IM GOIN KRAZY !! help:(

I once weighed 340 plus pounds and lost 200 pounds in 9 months which is too quick. I do not eat fried foods, bread and I love sweets so I eat the low or no fat stuff. I drink green tea and absolutely no carbonated drinks. I do not believe in taking pills so I only take fish oil tablets and green tea tablets. I also tend to gain when I do not sleep well at night. Get plenty of sleep and the only excercize i have time for and can do right now is using a stepper 15 minutes a day. I have Lupus so it is really hard for me. Good luck and you can do it.

I think I can tell you the 'answer' to your question ... you are not eating ENOUGH ... your 'calorie intake' is too low in comparison to the number of calories you 'burn' during the day, so your body is in 'starvation mode' and you can actually 'gain weight' when you do that, not 'lose weight' ... try eating a 'healthy diet' from the 'food pyramid' of no less than 1500 calories a day, and try 'burning' only 2000 calories a day ... if you 'burn more' calories, then you should 'eat more' to keep that 'number' at about 500 calories a day. If you can do this, you should 'lose weight' at the 'general rate' of about 2 pounds per week ... but you should NEVER 'weigh yourself every day' and do it only 'once a month' and preferably in the morning, when you are 'undressed' and at about the same time every time you weigh ... Lord you need help. Look you're doing all the right things now look at the things you eat. Cut out the sugar, some of the salt,
stay away from sugary cereals, use honey to sweeten your cereal, use only 1% milk, no chocolate, ice cream or donuts, drink 8 glasses of water, start each morning with a glass of water with a 1/2 lemon squeeze, no sugar that gets your juices flowing. Eat chicken, beef no pork, half of your plate should be veggies, not corn, no potatoes no pasta, just rice and limit yourself to two slices of bread a day and you will lose weight.

We gain weight during period because more liquid in the body, our stomach is a little bit curved during the period, at least, I'm like that. When you step on the scale, it's true that you'll find about 0.5kg more, but that's it.

I'm not so active in exercises, if you have to sit in the office all day, then try to have a good breakfast before work but not no lunch, then you might feel hungry around 3-4pm, you can have some afternoon tea with snacks and cookies or, a light meal till you don't feel hungry but not to make yourself too full.

We cannot loose weight most likely we cannot resist the dinner. This is the only meal in a day that we don't have to rush to eat, and we can enjoy the time with friends or family. That's why we eat more at dinner.

Since you had some snacks around 3-4pm, so you won't feel hungry after work at dinner time, then try to find something to do instead such as go window shopping, playing cards, get online chatting with people or here, answering questions... Then you'll forget "Dinner".

During your working hours, drink more tea with no milk,no sugar instead of latte. Definately no more food except liquids after 8pm. Rember don't eat too much after exercise, otherwise you will weigh even more before you exercise.

Our "clock" has been set for "Breakfast,lunch and dinner". Sometime we eat not because we are hungry but just it's TIME to eat. For me, I can only have 1 and a half formal mealsa day if I just work in the office whole day. Never 3 meals.

This is a lazy way just by diet. I'm a girl that gain weight so easily that I have to look after my weight very carefully.I can loose half kilo a day in the above way.

But wight loss is not a "project" but a "process". You still have to look after your weight carefully after you reach your target by not eating too much and try to walk more or ride a bike instead of driving.If you join the fitness club, you must eat some more nutrition food like fruits, vegis and water to make up for your energy.

As a Chinese, we like to eat with people and we have a lot of reasons to eat: For business, for family& friends, for the big holidays...but most of the Chinese are not fat because we use our legs not wheels to go everywhere ( ride bicycles, walk, take subway )

Try it, it's not so difficult.

Exercise everyday like jogging around the block
Skip meals. Eat 2 times per day than 3 times per day
Dont eat until you're full
Eat fruits at night if your hungry.
Drinks lots of water and stop all the fast food and chocolate.

You must be within your normal weight range and that is one of the reasons the weight isn't coming off easily. Are you drinking a lot of water? Drink 8-10 (8 oz.) glasses a day. Cut down on your salt intake. Limit your starchy foods like bread, cereals and pasta. Eat 3 balanced meals a day but don't eat late at night. Maybe you aren't eating enough. Increase your food intake but just make sure it is healthy food.

well i heard that before every meal u should drink a tall glass of water, so then you eat less and feel full. walk on the treadmill for about 30- 40 mins. do 50 sit ups in the morning and at night, do yoga and pilates, jump rope. sorry if this answer doesn't work for you.

that's despicable. and many those women have not totally hit puberty yet, so a number of them that do pass on those diets somewhat screw up there bodies for a protracted time. i desire extra human beings may be beneficial impacts on them in this board, because of the fact it could somewhat forestall quite some harm.

ok you are not going to lose any weight in four days!! just relax and accept yourself for who you are! you are too obsessed with your weight. lose weight the right way with proper diet and exercise. but you have to realistic! in four days youre not going to lose anything but your sanity! good luck!
