everytime i try to talk to him all he does is say he understands but then turns around and does the same thing again. how do i deal with it?

You need to leave this cat. Obviously he doesn't value nor respect your opinion. You need someone to listen to what you are saying and act on it. For him to just ignore you says that he really doesn't like you. If he did, he would try to accommodate you and your feelings. He is taking you for granted. You need to stand up for yourself. If he does the same thing, leave him. You never miss your water till your well runs dry and he will be missing you. It will be up to you then to take him back or not. I hope you don't, You can do much better than this guy.

Until he sees real consequences from him doing things you don't like he'll keep saying he understands and then continue doing what you don't like.
After experiences similar to yours I finally accepted what my friend told me over and over and that is---people treat you the way you allow them to treat you and what looks good to you isn't always good for you. I would try and try and try to figure out why this guy would do and say things that confused and hurt me. In alot of ways he was a really good guy so that made it even harder to admit this nice guy really wasn't so nice to me.
Finally, instead of trying to figure him out I spent my time thinking about how I wanted and deserved to be treated by a guy and realized this guy didn't make the grade. It is hard to be without him---I really cared about him but I am not being treated badly anymore and that feels good.
Good luck with however you decide to handle your situation. It's not easy I know.

I'm not going to tell you to dump him because if your going out with him obviously there is a reason why you like him and telling you to dump him is a lot easier to say then do, but clearly he doesn't respect you and therefore does not deserve you, try talking to him again about it and if all else fails find someone better you don't deserve to be ignored.

If you continue to allow hiim to treat you that way, he wont ever change because he has no reason not to. Either sit him down and discuss it with him,and explain it is a true problem, or explain why you're leaving him so maybe he won't do it to the next unsuspecting girl.

My boyfriend and 'treats me like crap' does not belong in the same statement. Get rid of him! You deserve better.

Leave him....someone that treats u like that is not worth being around...dont be afraid to find leave him and dont be scared that you wont find anyone else.... there are so many guys out there that would treat u as an equal

ignore him. dont run after him, if he is not interested in you then i would leave him alone. guys come and go thats how it works. if he was really in to you im sure he wouldn't just say the same thing everytime he sees you. just ignore him and give him space. he may come back you never know.

Because he is the wrong guy for you. The right guy for you will make you feel special and make you feel happy -- not make you feel like crap. Dump him. Get another bf. You are entirely too young to spend your time trying to please someone who is not pleasant. Sorry. Good luck -k-

He treats you like crap all the time because you let him do it. Stop letting him do it. He'll either change or dump you.
