It is written in the Bible that Jesus said, "Jesus replied 'I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God.'" That born from above is also translated as "born again". If he was not, is he above the law so to speak? If the answer is yes to this, is such the teaching that Jesus told others what to do but did not do it himself?

If the answer is that Jesus was "born again" or from above, when and how did it happen? Where is it recorded in the Bible?

Find the scripture that says that man will not be able to understand or comprehend all that has been written in the scriptures.Which is not necessary anyway but, what we need to understand is that ,to begin with, his birth and death was prophesied hundreds of years before. The birth of JESUS CHRIST was symbolic, being born of a virgin. In the same fashion, his death was also symbolic because, three days later, he was raised from the dead, seen by hundreds and ascended to heaven to sit at the right hand of GOD THE FATHER. In that sense, the righteous will also be taken to heaven when they die. The question you want answered is that when a person is born again, it means that he died a spiritual death, he is not the same person, he is as a new person. the old persona died a spiritual death and the person, symbolically, was born again.

When the Bible says that Jesus was "born from above" it is referring to the fact that the eternal Son of God wrapped Himself up in flesh and was born of a virgin so that He could be our Savior.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

When Jesus talks about being born from above or born again they mean the same thing. That the Holy Spirit has regenerated the person and given them new life in Christ.

John 1:12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Is Jesus above the law? He is the maker of the law. Besides which, He wasn't stating a "law" when He said a person had to be born again or born from above. He was relating a spiritual truth to mere human beings that wanted to be saved.

When Jesus replies that unless a person is born from above ...... he is referring to human kind being born again in the spirit which is from above. Jesus is the Word made flesh, God is the author of the Word. The Word = God = Jesus. Jesus has always been, as he is God and he was never born in his original form. As a human, yes, he went through being born so that he would be 100% human as well as 100% divine. He is not above the law, he is the law. Jesus, as a human, was baptized with the spirit for his humanly form, yet he did not need to be. He probably did so that questions or statements like "he told others to do it yet did not do it himself" could be answered. Jesus did everything that he told us to do and more, he died for us so that we could also live.

You will have to go back and read the definition of "born again". To be born again is to be regenerated from the carnal state of mind into the spiritual state of mind. Sinners and unsaved people are the only one who can be born again. This teaching was for the unsaved, not for Jesus. Jesus did not need to be born again since He never was in the fallen state corrupted by sin. Jesus came to earth in the flesh through birth by a woman conceived through the Holy Spirit. So His life here on earth contained no element of sin. But He can to earth in the form of a man to show men how they could live as He did with just the power of the Holy Spirit. He stripped Himself of His Godhood and came in the same type of body as all other men with being subject to the same weaknesses we have. Yet He was tempted in everyway, but did not sin.

Jesus did not have to be born again because he was born from above by virtue of his deity. (He was God)

The Bible doesnt say whether Jesus was created or is eternal. That is one of lifes little mysteries.

As fully God, and fully man Jesus was "born from above", because His Father was God Himself. HE had no sin nature, and therefore had nothing to be forgiven.
