Soccer, just like the rest of the world!

Football (what the rest of the world calls soccer.) Other popular sports are weightlifting and wrestling- including Greco-Roman ( no not that WWF stuff) When the USA wrestling team visited Iran the wrestlers where amazed at how enthusiastic the Iranians where about them coming to compete. They really enjoyed being in a country of such knowledgeable fans.
F/1 Auto racing has a Grand Prix in Bahrain and plan on adding one in the UAE probably Dubai.
It's to bad some people used this ? too vent their political views. Travel to Dubai educate yourself a little. Do you even know all the ethnic groups that live in the Middle East?

Cricket is huge in India and across the Middle East. A close second would have to be football (soccer).

Soccer. I have a friend from Lebanon and all they do is play soccer. All the time. Every waking hour of the day. He lives down the street from my friend and he is out practicing every minute he isnt doing school stuff.

It's a game that has been going on for years. It's played by strapping yourself with bombs and seeing who can kill the most people at once. It's very sad but true.
