Wasps are the worst for me, too. It's the only thing I don't like about the Summer!

I noticed these yellow jacket traps at a pool last summer. They were filled with bees. Basically, a sweet, syrupy substance inside the trap attracts them and lures them in. Then they get stuck and die. I'm considering trying a few of those in my backyard as a precaution this Summer.

Also, you might hire a pest control company to periodically search your yard and erradicate any nests. If your allergies are life-threatening, it's worth the expense. Good luck.

New house???

Sign up for an exterminator. he comes around periodically and sprays .Prevents roaches and other things. No offense, but no matter how clean your house is, you could still get roaches.
He also takes care of wasps and bees.

PS If youlive in a suburban environment, watch for groundhogs, They have fleas,
they leave them in the grass, you walk in the grass, you bring them in the house.
What a headache.

Pick one out of the yellow pages and give him a call.
