I do not believe so. God speaks to us silently which you could not hear but feel it yourself when you have request to him .At the old testament, yes that was written but not everybody could dream of the wish of God for you and he only speak to those who are faithful to God.

If an angle is carrying a message of God to you, maybe you should study mathematics?
If it is a "spirit guide", then you have been decieved by demons, and you need to get with God to get free.
God does speak through dreams sometimes.
But then the fact that you answered your own question denotes that perhaps you are more interested in preaching than asking and learning.

Why would God speak to you through dreams and then not give you the ability to remember dreams? It would kind of defeat the purpose wouldn't it?
Studies on dreams have concluded that people mostly dream about sex, work, power, success, and ordinary daily tasks. But people mostly dream about things they are stressed about or things they have been thinking hard about the day before (that's why they suggest to study before you go to bed; you're more likely to remember). They do these studies by putting people in sleep labs, wait for them to begin dreaming (when their eyes start moving), wake them up and ask them what they're dreaming about.
Dreaming most likely assists your brain in processing memories and making connections more efficient so to speak. Why else do children dream much more than adults? God wants to speak to infants more than the elderly?
Besides, only a small amount of what you "remember" from dreams you actually dreamt. Dreams become more detailed the more you think about them, not because you're remembering more, but because you're unconsciously filling in logic gaps in the storyline. If you didn't, even if you remembered the whole dream, it probably wouldn't make sense

The Bible speaks of prophecy coming in dreams so I believe it is possible that God sometimes uses that method to give a person inspiration. However, our own minds can also conjure up things in our dreams that we might interpret as having come from God. I would suggest you pray about it and then wait. If it is from God, the Holy Spirit will let you know for sure.

Some think the unconscious speaks to us through dreams. Some believe the unconscious mind might be connected to God.

Really?
Then I guess I should be trying to jump off of cliffs with rulers to see if I can fly.
But something tells me that I'd be stupid to do such a thing. (Does that mean that God's trying to assassinate me? ._. )
