It's going to be great playing a harp up in heaven while Atheists are getting their skin boiled off in the Lake of Eternal Hellfire.

I don't know any Christians that think that way.
I know lots of Christians.

Actually that's a misconception that has been propagated by various churches that don't adhere to the whole counsel of God's Word. Here's what the Bible has to say about Christians who keep on sinning like there's no tomorrow.

Hebrews 10:26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. 29 How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has spurned the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, "Vengeance is mine; I will repay." And again, "The Lord will judge his people." 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

First, you're an idiot. Second, you've missed the point of Christianity if you are this proud and smug. Third, harps in heaven... burn me in hell if harps is the best heaven has to offer. Finally, God will laugh at you when you die... for misinterpreting the message so badly.

Nice thought, but nobody's getting away with coning God, so forget it. Christians
do not have a free license to sin; A repentance had better be a sincere one and from the heart, or you just prayed your fake prayer for nothing. May as well have just
not bothered. God reads the heart.

That' what makes the Love of God so great. He knows all your mistakes and faults before you make them, yet He offers you the opportunity to make it to heaven, if you except Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. I am not saying God is pleased with a Christian who sins all the time. God is not mocked a reaps what she sows. But I would rather be saved and be the least of christians than be unsaved and burn forever.

i find your comment quite offensive.not to mention very insensitive.
everybody is a sinner-christians and non-christians.getting into heaven,is solely based on one's relationship to Jesus.the atheist will end up in hell only if,they refuse to accept God's offer of salvation, through a relationship with Jesus.
yes, christians do sin like there's no tomorrow.and it confuses me,as well.i do and say things that i shouldn't.but i believe, that any christian, who lives a sinful lifestyle of doing certain things, will receive some kind of consequences.i've received consequences for my sins.if someone is a true christian, they will find their way back to Jesus.even if they spend 10 years backsliding away from Him,they'll eventually come back to Him.
if you're a christian, and you made that comment,i think that was very disrespectful.christians need to show the love, mercy, and forgiveness of Jesus.no christian has any right,to judge and condemn anybody.athiest,muslim,mormon,buddhist,whoever.salvation is a free gift, offered to everyone who wants to receive it.

I must constantly try to improve myself too...

To sin is being contrary to the nature of heaven, but is the nature of the world, that of being a beast, despite having human appearance, and must remain there.

10. O SON OF DESIRE!
Give ear unto this: Never shall mortal eye recognize the everlasting Beauty, nor the lifeless heart delight in aught but in the withered bloom. For like seeketh like, and taketh pleasure in the company of its kind.

(Baha'u'llah, The Persian Hidden Words)

Thanks to the posters of Paul's writing on this, and John's epistle... Here is from what is the same in Matthew.

"5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.

5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven."

However be not what is spoken of here, if you can manage to avoid it...

"5. O SON OF DUST!
Verily I say unto thee: Of all men the most negligent is he that disputeth idly and seeketh to advance himself over his brother. Say, O brethren! Let deeds, not words, be your adorning."

(Baha'u'llah, The Persian Hidden Words)

The Bible teaches us over and over that that is not how grace should be viewed. That is a belief of people that are ignorant of what the Bible actually teaches. We are warned over and over that we cannot be a hypocrite living in sin and expect to go to Heaven.

No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. -1 John 3:9

Christians who "sin like there's no tomorrow" are not real Christians but phony people who want to be "in" the Christian community for one reason or another. You are not saved unless you are willing to repent (change) and do your very best to avoid sinning. And no, for the real Christian, we cry for the souls of the atheist not rejoice in their suffering. My heart aches every time I hear the words of someone who is still lost to God and I know that God cries also for you are still his child.
