I'll leave this question up to voting, but how long is the best time to keep my questions up for? I do not want them to sit and get stale, however, I do not want to yank them too quick with out giving credit to someone with a better answer who may answer at a late time. What do you guys think?

Well I would leave it up a couple days unless you get THE ANSWER which of course will happen at times and then someone will come along and copy and paste it for their own lol no just kidding. I tend to put it up for a vote if it falls further and further back away from the newer questions because people don't tend to wade through them too much. They simply scan the new questions...answer what they want or make a mental note and comeback to it. If its been up for more than 5 days and you don't see the clear answer chances are it may not be coming. If someone missed it they can always comment on it later which I have done at times. Not sure if everyone checks their questions after they awarded best answers though.

Ric, I don't ask many questions but when I do I want as many answers as I can get. I leave mine on for 3 days and refer back to it from time to time.

At least a day, but it's really up to the type of answer you get.

4 DAYS AT LEAST, UNLESS U KNOW THAT THE RESPONSES ARE FINISHED EARLY OR U WANT IT TO STAY LONGER TO PROVE A POINT.
