Bruce Lee would have done just fine. They don't put 140 lb guys in with 240 lb guys. And if You watched Enter the Dragon. watch the first fight at the Temple. two guys in black shorts with MMA gloves on. And this was 1971. If you put an octagon around that mat what would you have. UFC. He even had this guy on the ground in a leg hold and made him TAP OUT. tap out or pass out the choice is yours.

Seeing as how this is all speculation, I too will speculate.

Lee was small, yes, and a proper hold probably could have finished him, yes.

But that's assuming his opponent was fast and smart enough to grab him immediately. Somehow I suspect there would have been a couple of three-inch punches, a broken nose, and a broken rib before the other guy could think to grab Lee in most cases.

When it came to explosive speed, Lee could certainly dish out the punishment. You try grabbing me when there's twelve fists in each of your eyes, and you'll see what I mean.

God bless.

Martial Arts are not about Violence
ask any past leader of any good cause
name one please and not Lidell
I mean like
Budda Jesus not a part of the Koran as my Muslim brothers have well made clear, umm Daoism, hmm
how ablout Martin Luther, say John Paul how bout
John the Baptist or say
Your Dead Marine Brother that died because Violence creates Violence
My Jewish brothers don't like it, nor do the Amish. And ya no neither does the little children suffering from the beatings at school, say how bout Shinto, or even Ron L. Hubbard
please argue with me intelligently as many are reading this and I would like to verbally spar with any of you willing to test your wits not your brawn, lets show the world our real skills that matter ;)
kinda like whosssss the dumbasssssss on line

That is why there are different weight divisions and like any great striker he would work mush at his sprawl and avoid the takedown! Bruce Lee was small but a very quick striker and quite powerful! I'm sure he would've been one of the greatest in mixed martial arts, but it is a wasted vision!

He was a being with very extraordinary power. He just created a force of mind over body. He was capabale of hurting many men, bigger in size, very quickly. I don't think there has been human power, physically, like that since Samson and I don't think there has been anyone since Bruce Lee that has ever been a more accomplished fighter.

I think about this often, but remember, alot of people dont know that bruce lee did fight some real fights before beeing famous, u will find here http://www.westlord.com/brucelee/eng-life-story.html so..honestly..he would be good..but its unanserable since he will never be in the octogon, like we cant say a 2 year old baby woudnt stand a chance just becose its a baby since if he or she had never been there ( exagerating..but you get the point)

uh everyone he fought would be his own size, thats why they have WEIGHT CLASSES. Plus, Bruce had insane strength for his size. The man dedicated his life to being in shape and learning mma. he pretty much invented mma. I see him fighting a lot like Gomi.

He would do well in his weight class, he was in top physical condition and was a good athlete. Obviously no one really goes undeafeated in MMA, but I think he would compete fine especially if he could break out the nunchucks from his back pocket, he would dominate for sure.

He would get disqualified. Wing Chun is used to disable or kill a man. his hits would be considered illegal because of the rules involved in tournaments.Real martial arts tournaments have ambulances waitng outside not a bunch of photograpers.
