Love God above all. respect God. obedience to God. have faith in him. trust him, No committing of sins against him and against the law of God, preach his teachings convince non believers of God to believe him and so forth and so on.

Serving God is not only obeying the 10 commandments, it is having a personal relationship with him. reading the bible, praying and really getting in touch with God. Putting God first in your life always, leaning on him and living as the word of God tells us to and definitly asking him in your heart and washing all of your sins away. When you become a christian and serve God you become a new person, emotionally, spitually. Its not only going to church on Sundays, it is serving God 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. It is letting him lead your life and totally have full control over it. Putting our full trust in him and not man. Serving God is awesome and amazing. He gives us a new life and I am humbles to serve God.

To serve God is to walk according to His commandments, laws, and observe His statutes. It is to live as a living sacrifice whose life is pleasing unto the Lord. Romans 12:1 says, "Therefore brethren I beseech thee by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a living sacrifice unto God which is your reasonable service". If you live holy and obedient unto God you will be serving Him. But serving God can include a wide range of things. It can be serving other people. It can also fasting and praying. The point is this when you serve someone, you minister to them in a pleasant way. Likewise, however you live your life is should be refreshing and pleasant unto the Lord.

To do good, follow His word (the Bible), and repent of your sins. Praise Him for His good works, and pray to Him. (It's like being in a chat room with God. How cool is that!?!?!) That's what serving God means.

It is sort of complex because it goes against what makes sense. It does not mean slavery in the sense that he he is a tyrant. He wants to see his people serving one another . To serve God is to serve people to love God is to love people. He came in the form of a man being Jesus and lived a life of service to people. Jesus said "if you have seen me you have seen God" because He did the will of God. We can't perform all the miracles that he did but we can forgive, love, and choose a life that is not self centered. God is pleased with this kind of life and he is not hard to please it is people who are hard to please because of sin.

if you wanna serve God, you need to follow his commandments... the most important of which is to love God above all and love others as you love yourself.. so basically, just be good to others, and help them in any way you can, that way you are already serving God.

Other than following what he says in whatever holy text you believe in it also means to do his work here on earth using the talents that he gave you. If you are a Christian it also means showing his love through your actions.

To serve GOD, means to live by his word (The Bible), to walk with him, spread his word on earth. To except Christ as your Lord and Savior and keep him in your life. LIVE FOR CHRIST EVERY DAY!!!
