The Limewire icon in my desktop wont work. WHY???????

the target for the shortcut is not set properly or the program install has been deleted or corrupted.

right-click on the shortcut on your desktop, then click on 'properties' (at the bottom)

in the box labled target, it should read "C:\Program Files\LimeWire\LimeWire.exe" if installedto the default directory. just make sure it matches the location of the limewire.exe installation folder on your pc.

..Um, make sure the process isn't already running.

Ctrl+Alt+Delete - Processes - Limewire.exe. If you see it, end task, and try to run it.

If not, try running the icon from C:\Program Files\Limewire.
