it will have to be done long before you will get it. Docking must be done between 2 and 5 days of age. No later to avoid nerve damage issue. Generally breeders will handle this as part of the breed.

Breeders dock the tail 2-3 days after birth, you shouldnt have to worry about it.

Tail docking would be done by the breeder.
The tails are sone at 3-5 days old. long before the pups are ever sold to new homes.

if you are going to buy a puppy his tail will already be docked. They get their tails docked when they are just a few days old.

It should be done at 2-3 days of age. After that it is considered a tail amputation and will be considerally more

yeah they should be a few days old. although i've assisted with a tail docking and the pup was at least a couple months old so it was real painful since the spine had already grown into the tail.
