No god exists to do the tugging.

You're a little confused. God does not tug at my heart... because there is no God. Atheists don't want to know whether Jesus is the way to Heaven. We know that heaven does not exist.

Those that are undecided are Agnostics, not Atheists.

What do you say to people of other religions who also claim to feel "tugging at their heart"? Are they also correct? Or are they misinterpreting those feelings?

I claim that everyone who interprets those feelings as coming from some supernatural source is misinterpreting those feelings. People who reach the point where they "ask" have already reached the point that they believe, and are likely to take some random coincidence as a "sign". This is a spiral of delusion. It explains all kinds of superstition, including all religious belief in gods.

i am an "atheist" by your definition... no mystical "gods" tug at my heart... "jesus" and all your other made up saviours are not really in keeping with my sanity... that includes heaven and all the other made up concepts that written about in the bible.. religion is so laughable.

In the history of time, there have been countless gods that have come and gone.. and all the "believers" think their "god" is the ONE .... LOL ha ahahhahh a hah aahha h hah

even so... i love christians just for the sheer amusement factor of them trying to justify their TOTALLY INSANE beliefs :-)

How could there be tugging if there isn't a god? Quit trying to convert people it isn't working. And your sentence that says "that want to know whether or not jesus is really the one true way to heaven" we already know that he isn't the "one" so why should we ask?

God's never, ever, "tugged my heart". This is the reason I became atheist. I went to church and everything, and really wanted to believe, but I never "felt" God once. While my faith was slipping, I asked time and time again for some kind of sign, and never recieved one.

Yeah. So your little spew there obviously doesn't apply.

I want to know why Religious people of all faiths can remain religious when truth is revealing itself to you at every corner.

Your chemical imbalance and emotional instability is not "GOD" talking to you...relax, step back and breathe and the disconcerting feeling that you are having will discipate and you will know real peace!!

What you are experiencing now isn't peace but an uncontrollable, driven feeling of guilt and fear...God is NOT trying to talk to you. No invisable entity is trying to communicate with you...Jesus, space aliens or Santa Claus.

What you are experiencing is chemical imbalance and feelings of superiority. You are experiencing delusions of grandeur and imagining you can read minds. You can not and the only person seeking help is YOU.

Science does have medication for that. Are you taking yours?

The only thing tugging at my heart is Playboy's Miss April. I just got my issue today and I've cried out 'Oh, My God!' a dozen times already today.

Um, no one's tugging at my heart. And no atheist I know questions anything about Jesus or heaven. We don't believe in it! Why can no one figure this out??

If god tugs on someones heart then they are not an Atheist. You're not the brightest bulb on the xmas tree are you?

Does God really tug at your heart? Or are you feeling the guilt trip your church layed on you?

Lots of people ask and don't receive else there'd be no poverty or disease.
