No, I'm afraid I don't agree. I do not believe that God ever does anything to mankind to harm them unless it is a judgement against sinners such as with the destruction of Sodom or the great flood.
Those young people died as a result of a natural phenomenon (and no God did not create tornadoes and I would suggest that man had more to do with the cause behind the tornado). Others will die because man made a wrong choice...such as a drunk driver killing people in a car accident.
There is nothing in the Bible to suggest that God calls people "home" as it is said in many churches when someone dies. People die every day and it simply means that their earthly bodies have run out of the ability to repair itself either due to injury or old age. When Adam and Eve sinned, God told them that now they will surely die. He did not mean that they would die that instant but meant instead that they would no longer live forever in the garden which was his original hope for them.

As for do I agree, I think it was a mixture of occurance. Things like that you can't fully understand, only the people involved can.
Yes everything happens for a reason. The signifigance of something may direct you more than others. For instance I have a pain in my back left shoulder right now, but I am ignoring it, to type this. Was the reason for that pain, to give you an example.. only god knows. Sure i could disect it and say because I am laying a certain way, and it is a sign saying I should move so my shoulder isn't paintful anymore, and what if I discovered a long lost coin when I moved etc.. and that coin was used to get a candy bar etc.. are things, relative sure, to a certain extent, it is our existance, but we can submerge or recall experiences and as such some thing appear more signifigant and focal in mind than others. That is what defines us, our own sense of self. I beleive we sense 'everything' it is just what we choose to have as part of our belief at any given time. In that way life is belief in motion.
As for the kids. It is a weird happening, maybe they are in Oz..Of course the idea is that they are doing what they believe to be done, as much is right.

No I do not agree. Assuming he had planned their deaths then why be so brutal? Why not take them in their sleep. Explain why all the innocent children die of starvation. What did they do to deserve such suffering. Their time indeed! That's a bunch of bull. Everyone uses God as a way out. What exactly is the big plan he has in store? If God exists or ever did exist he has long since left the human race to fare for themselves. We are doing a hell of a job aren't we? If God is as good as everyone claims then he would help the suffering instead of creating more suffering. He has a real sick sense of humor doesn't he?

No, I don't agree.
And most Christians don't behave like they do. Why cry at funerals when they have gone to heaven? Why say he was taken too soon?
What about those who don't die, but suffer for years and years? That's God's plan?
May be he should resort to Plan B. That couldn't be any worse than the one He's following right now.
Maybe that's where Bush gets it from. Maybe he's sticking to his plans just the same way that God is.

Do you think that the parents of the kids killed by the tornado agree? Whether or not things happen for a reason, I caution you to be careful how you word things, especially to those who are grieving losses. Those who do not share your views are deeply hurt by hearing about "plans" and "mysterious ways" when they have just lost a child.

"...if they were christian, then they are in Heaven right now"? Meaning that if they were NOT christian and happened to have born among the odd 5 billion people that had no christian upbringing they are in HELL?!!! What kind of person are you?! Some kind of christian nazi? What kind of God is that one that you say you follow that condemns all non christian children of the world to eternal damnation just because He never gave them a chance to hear about the bible? Must be your personal one because the God that I believe in is the same for all creatures on earth, no matter how they talk to Him.

There in reality 2 causes issues take position. the first is reason and result, and the 2d is threat. with the exception of that, no, issues do no longer take position for a reason. Take it from a guy that has had more suitable brushes with death than you are able to imagine - only because you're nonetheless respiration is easily no longer a reason you're nonetheless the following.

Yes the Lord does work in mysterious ways . but don't forget this that God doesn't cause everything to happen, He allows things to happen. Let me explain take evil God is sinless he doesn't cause evil He allows it but also uses it for his purpose there is a verse in the Bible that says don't be a fool why should you die before your time. That doesn't seem to apply here but think about what it is saying . God still however is in full control He allows things to happen and uses it for good eventually these kids could have been taken to save someone else from being harmed by them we never know why.

I agree that things happen for a reason yes that was an unfortunate event but maybe that event changed someones outlook on life and maybe it brought someone closer to God to make them realize that u never know when ur time is coming that u have to live your life right by God and Live everyday as if it where your last. I believe that without suffering there is no compassion God has a plan for everyone and we'll never know when its our time to leave this earth
Obey God and leave your consequences up to Him

No, things happen and then you make up a reason. God kills children because he has a plan? How about the children who died in Auschwitz's gas ovens during Hitler's reign, did God sit by and enjoy the sight of children in pain and fear so that he could fulfill his "plan"? Did you know that 30,000 children will die tonight of starvation and disease? Is their suffering and fear a part of his plan, too? Christians need psychiatric help.
