or does it always have to be a skinny model type....cuz i feel like i cant compare to other girls...im not fat but im not skinny either..im 5'5 and weigh 150 but people say i look nice and i get the occassional "your cute"

Believe me honey! The boys you want don't care what you really look like, you are the perfect model type in thier eyes! Not to mention that based on what you said you are NOT chubby, that is a very healthy and attractive weight!
True men like people, not bodies! But you sound pretty anyway so I wouldn't worry about it!

Yes. Many people like different types. Opposites do attract, don't you know. I prefer what's on the inside rather than what's on the outside. The outside can change in a heart-beat. What's on the inside is the 'real' person. I've got a cousin who is a model and her husband is the geekiest person that I've ever met. They've been married for over 15 years. And they are totally devoted to each other.
So, you never know what may happen.

Guys do not like twigs... they want a woman they can hold. There are guys who like them extremely big and the complete opposite- there are guys who like the greyhound skinny chicks. Your size changes throughout your whole life. Your insides dont. If a man is attracted to your insides (who you really are) then the outside wouldnt matter all that much.
Big girls get just as much love from guys as anyone else..
And if a guy is too shallow to see beyond your outsides then he wasnt worth having in the first place....

Why dont you ask this question to yourself? - Would you like to go out with a guy who is not cute but has an attractive personality? It is my opinion that most of us are too fussy about the looks of the person that we choose to go out with and then we worry why we are not satisfied when it was our fault at the first place in not realizing what we really like to have in a relationship. See if you are daring enough to perceive people beyond their looks - I am sure you would not find a need to post such a question ever again.

we are the same height and about the same weight and when I was younger i felt the same way but now that the guys have matured its compleatly different the guys that didnt notice me in school are asking me out and now that I have more self confidence people are always telling me how pretty I am because self confidence shine through in a big way
Do not worry about being skinny if you are healthy just worry about being happy and the guys will come around

if it makes you feel better. i am 5' 3" and 198lbs. i have been with the same guy for 4 yrs. he doesn't care about my weight unless it starts affecting my health. so, yes you can and will be loved. don't lose hope and remember you're just a diamond in the rough and should be treat as such.

Yes of course Why NOT!! To be perfectly honest I think that Girls and Guys are equally picky about who they date and their physical appearance. Your confidence is definitely the Key, Looks Fade but truly inner beauty doesn't die!!

UGH i hate guys who judge girls on the outside your looks shouldnt matter as long as you feel beautiful you ARE beautiful i was anarexic for a month and i think it might be comming abck but i dont want that for anyone else just love yourself

Yeah any guy can like chubby girls once he realises that they have low self esteem and are pretty much desperate. A guy will like anything that puts out.
A chubby guy hasn't much chance with anyone unless he has a lot of money.
