I was wondering if getting a good 9 hours of sleep and then waking up at about 6- 6:30 (sunrise) and playing and exercising with my dog would be a good jump start for my energy and metabolic rate??

also I really dont have a place to jog except for my little tiny yard so I cant do that at all!!!! what would be a good exercise outdoors with my dog??
I am 12. weigh 123 and Im 5 '2 so I was wanting to lose some weight but not too much!!! maybe starting summer break!?

You should go for a walk in your neighborhood with your dog. but how far and for how long depends on what kind of dog you have. You as a growing 12 year old should walk about 45 minutes to 1 hour a day. Now a toy poodle needs way more exercise that a great dane or a saint bernard.

well, jogging would be a good start if you have somewhere else to jog, like maybe around your block? i have found that hiking is so much fun for me and my dog, and its great exercise too. i love to have fun and exercise with my dog. Also sweety, please do not put out your personal information on the internet, i know you have no intentions, but just be really careful. have fun this summer!!

first of all, you don't need to loose weight... but if you want to get a good start in you morning routine, you should consider taking a walk on a pathway... i do that every morning i can and i take my dog and flashcards with me so i can practice for tests at school that day. if that is not a possibility for you for some reason than walk around your neighborhood anything can work... best wishes

First off, you're only twelve? You look like you're at least sixteen or something. What's the hurry in looking older? 2nd, you don't need to loose weight. Be a kid while you can. Don't rush into all this adult stuff. It's really not even close to as fun as it may seem. Am I right other adults?

you don't have to lose weight, but getting in shape would be good. any activity with your dog will be good for your body. maybe walking around a block or (depending on where you live) use your schools gym to work out. but DON'T stop eating just eat healthy.

Darling that is the wrong reason to get a dog.

You are 12!

You are FINE...

Please stop obsessing about impossible model proportions and just enjoy life...

Eat right, drink righ, exercise, don't smoke, and you will be FINE!
