Stunt your growth? Well there is no evidence that the bone platelets are damaged in youth from using either during proper form and technique. In fact Strength training increases bone mass and helps them grow strong. If a person were to lift or train improperly with poor form or too much weight then things can go wrong. I've heard a story of a kid that increased the wight he lifted every time and soon his muscles were stronger then his bones and he broke his radius and ulna. The point is increase weight over time and in five to ten percent increments.

So... No under normal and proper use strength training will not cause damage to the bones but the opposite and increase bone density. Improper techniques ...well maybe they will and maybe they won't. In the short term but I think it's best to place risk vs benefit in place.

Oh some folks say to only train using body weight. Well if a person can't do body weight exercises, as say pull ups. Then the lat pull would be a good choice to build up to body weight. Or lets say a person can't do push ups properly so use the bench press to build up to the push up.

No idea.

Eat only when hungry and not more than three times a day. Take only water in between.

Chew each morsel at least 32 times for effective functioning of ur natural system of telling u that u have had enough.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve ur ideal weight in a reasonable period effortlessly and permanently.

i think maybe if you walked around every day with an entire weight machine on your head, 24/7, then, possibly.

but as long as you're doing 'normal' things - using the weights or machines for what they're intended - then you should be safe. 8)
