I'm just curious because I was called one today. No, I'm not a lesbian. I wear some makeup, but not a lot. My clothes aren't frilly, but they are teen girl clothes. I have hair to my mid-back. My personality is very to-the-point.
Anyways, I'm just wondering why this guy called me a tomboy, and whether this is a good or bad thing?

they are the keepers! down to earth..not too needy.... not girly~ girl,(high maintenance with little or not give back,) other that their bodies)..but tomboy girls are cool to go camping..sports get really messy under the covers! they totally rock!!!!!!!!!!!!. and you can talk to them and they have decent head on their shoulders.

Well, these guys could mean two different things, both of which are somewhat bad when it comes to dating. They could be talking about your body, or they could be talking about your personality, etc. IF this guy is a reliable judge of these things, it could mean either (or both) of those. Believe me, I've seen some very strong, masculine girls around. They really creep me out, to tell you the truth. I don't know why this guy called you a tomboy . . . if it's your personality, I guess it can be modified easily enough. If it's your body, well, there isn't anything you can do about it. However, makeup and clothes will not make you less of a tomboy unless those are specific reasons you seem boyish in the first place. Don't worry about it too much unless you think you're really masculine. He might be completely blowing things out of proportion. Good night!

i do no longer somewhat have any subject with women that are tomboys (besides the certainty that i think of looking is merciless). i might rather have female buddy that grew to become right into a tomboy over one that grew to become into some Nineteen Fifties Stepford spouse or a narcissistic self-absorbed snob. *EDIT* do no longer pay attention to rodeo champ. i in my opinion might hate to be married to a very female submissive housewife.

omg being a tomboy is not a bad thing at all. it doesnt mean u r a lesbian or dont do girl things it just means ur not a girly girl who only does girl things... alot of guys like tomboys cuz they r more adventurous or understand what guys r thinking better..

Well i have a crush on a self proclaimed tomboys. Frankly, i think they are fun. It depends who you ask. I dont mind tomboys. Others do.
