Congestion in your sinus cavities. Your inner ear uses those tubes and cavities in your head to help stabilize the pressure within your head and without. Try to find some sudafed. You may have to ask your pharmacist. And get some benadryl too. This should clear up your sinuses and relieve the popping. It always worked when I had allergy problems and experienced the same thing as you.

If it doesn't then you need to go see your doctor. It's possible that you have an ear infection.

It sounds like you have fluid in your ears, if you have had a recent head cold or sinus infection tht is probably the case. If this is so, you will need an antibiotic to clear the fluid up. The other possible case is you may clench your teeth(TMJ syndrome) and that can your ears to feel full and "pop" randomly. I have the TMJ problem and your right it really is annoying. Your best bet is to see your Doctor and get your ears check out. Good LucK! Don't listen to the guy above me that is just plain CRAZY!!!

Hi There

Here are some ideas to use to heal the condition.

Treat Both Ears: The simple, old-fashioned aids are sometimes very fast in giving relief. Always treat both ears, even if only one aches.

1.Garlic: When my little girl had an earache I put a piece of fresh garlic in her ear and it was better by morning. The previous alternative was to go to the doctor and pay a lot of money for penicillin.

2. Onion: Lightly bake a large onion, cut it in half and while warm (not hot enough to irritate the area), bind one half of the onion over each ear. Bandage in place and hold bandage on with a nightcap, white skullcap, etc., and leave on all night.

3.Camomile: Use a fomentation over both ears of three parts of camomile and one part of lobelia. Take two ounces orally (a wineglass full) each two waking hours. Leave the fomentation on the ears all night. (Cover fomentation with plastic or oiled silk, etc.).

4. Mullein: Use three to six drops of mullein oil in both ears several times each day. Insert it upon retiring for the night, and, as before, plug the ears with cotton. Place a fomentation over the ears all night of three parts mullein and one part lobelia.

Best of health to you
