I am currently working on a college assignment for my masters. I am creating a PR plan for my school and would appreciate any info about public relations at your school.

I am in an urban, Title 1 school with 1100 students.

We have a man who is in charge of our local television channel. He posts information about the school and you can watch videos of school performances, etc. on this channel.
Whenever there is a crisis or something that draws news attention to us, they go through him. He then speaks with the principals and superintendant to prep them for the situation and they will then talk to the reporters.
The same man will also clarify things in an article in the weekly local paper and will put things on the news channel to clear up misconceptions.
