How Long Dose It Take Till A Kitten Can Start To Run Around, as cats do

A few weeks, but they can start crawling everywhere pretty quickly! It does vary between kittens - my youngest girl was a few days behind her more adventurous brothers.

In anticipation of the kittens being EVERYWHERE, if I were you I'd move all wires out of the way (kittens play with them and can bite through them), block up any holes in old floorboards, make sure they can't get behind the fridge to the heatpump, and block up any other holes you don't want them dissappearing into. My cat took her kitten up the chimney - luckily I realised before I lit a fire! Make sure your curtain poles are strongly fixed - kittens love climbing curtains. And if you have a tree-like plant, e.g a yukka, remember that it will be very tempting to a kitten.

And watch out - kittens can get under feet very easily. I trod on one of my kittens tails when he was a few weeks old. You should have heard him yell!

It takes a couple of weeks because it's body has to be strong enough to help the kitten lift up it's head. And it will probably be most active when it's eyes open up- which will take 3-6 weeks. Depends on the cats growing and developing rate!

How old is your kitten?? Kittens can run around fairly well as soon as they are walking and no longer wobbly.
