Wladimir is a good fighter, solid champion but he is not great. Ray Austin was a gimme. Shame on the promoters involved for selling him as a legitimate opponent. Wladimir whould be fighting only the other proven heavyweights like: Sam Peter (who has improved since being rushed into a championship fight before he was ready), Tommy Morrison (who will certainly test Wlad's chin) and others who I cant think of right now.

Just a side note Nekkra, Lennox was NOT losing against Vitali, it was about even and THAT is why people want to believe like you do. Look at the tape of the fight. Vitali's face was a mess and Lennox was starting to take over. NO heavyweight in recent times could finish an opponent like Lennox. He could have beaten both of the Klitschkos but he is probably about it. I still don't believe they are so great. It's just that they have all the physical advantages and they can box reasonably well. Not many boxers are that big and that can move and punch. But Corrie Sanders, Lamon Brewster, Ross Purrity, and Lennox Lewis have shown that they are far from invincible. But right now, I believe that, and only because of his size, Valuev may be the only one to stand a chance. Their timing is right to rule the heavyweight division. If Lennox or even Evander were younger it would be a different story.

I really don't know if anyone can beat him right now. The heavyweight division is really sad and has been for awhile. On a personal note, That fight with Austin was so bad I regret watching it. I also had a BIG problem with that count out. Not that I believed Austin would get up but I thought that count was a bit quick by the ref. He was separating the two while counting to 4 in his head. By the time he got near to Ray he was on 5 already, that's not legal. The knocked down boxer needs to hear the ref's count out loud so he know how much time he has to get up. By the time Austin heard Cotton he had no chance of getting up in time.

Ray Austin was a chump. Over promoted by a chump promoter (King). Don King needs to get over himself and stop being such a disgrace to the American people every time he travels outside the country.

Valuev wants to fight Wladimir. Just one thing, King is his co-promoter. It will be interesting to see if that happens or not. If it does, look for a fight around June/July. This fight will last a bit longer as Valuev is the real-deal.

As for Lewis coming out of retirement, I don't see it happening. I don't know if they showed it on HBO but during the prefight he was in the ring with Vitali for a little chat. Vitali is coming out of retirement and Lewis (despite the several offers, challenges, and insults) will not get back in the ring because he KNOWS he was losing against Vitali and he KNOWS that if he comes back he will have to fight Vitali to get any kind of respect / credit in the boxing world.

The whole Don King circus freak show is getting old. Promoters are supposed to do their dealings quietly and behind closed doors. King wants to be in the spotlight to battle both Kitschkos in a promoter showdown.

He needs to fight the top ranked fighters and unify the title. Ray Austin got his paycheck and that should be investigated. Austin did nothing in that fight to look like a fighter that only lost 3 fights. He was timid and that was a poor poor performance by a heavyweight fighter who physically matched up with Wladimir but chose to fight like a scared mouse.

Let's just say that there is noopposition for Wladimri right now. The heavy weight division is poor in talent right now.

I don't think anyone can win over the Klitschko family right now, unless Lennox Lewis get out of his retirement.....

There is a lot of young prospects in the middelweight & super middleweight division to batlle with an excellent quality of boxers in that division. You should take a look there.

Eventually the alphabet champs have to unify. I wanna see what Klitschko can do with Valuev.
