Prom Dillema?

Question

i asked the girl of my dreams out for my senior prom and she said yes and i couldn't be any more happier. but then i found out she told a group of people we were gonna go with them. the thing with this group of people is i hate them and they hate me-one girl in particular constantly likes to talk crap about me to my face and my back; another couple of people were involved in a love triangle which also makes the group awkward. my date claims many of these girls are her "Friends" but the fact is she only knows 2 of them (there's 14 people in this group to point out) and she's only recently started talking to these 2 girls b/c they are in the same spanish class. me and my date got into an arguement about this group and it got so bad we called each other horrible things and stopped talking for 2 weeks. we recently made up but she still insists on going with this group and ever since this fight she's become really distant with me-for example, whenever i suggest we go out or hang out, she...

.....she will say "sounds great i'll call you later" and never calls, the other day when i called her she didnt answer but 5 minutes later a RANDOM guy called me to tell me she left her phone in his truck. she's also noticably very angry with alot of people from our school and talks of how much she cant wait to get away from these "@$$holes" from our town. it kind of makes me feel like im part of this "@$$hole group"

any advice oh wise yahoo people?

Wow - that sounds like a lot of drama. Do yourself a favor and move on. If I were you I wouldn't go to prom with this girl and I definitely wouldn't start a relationship with her (which is what may happen if you go to prom together). I know you said that she is 'the girl of your dreams' but this won't just go away. You will continue to have fights with her over this if you continue to be romantically involved with one another. It might be hard since you seem to like her a lot, but it's better to break it off now than to start dating and have a much more hurtful break-up, which is what I think will happen. You need to just move on and find someone much less dramatic!

how badly do u want to go with her? is there anyone else u want to go with?.......I think she sounds like she has a lot goin on in her life right now....and unfortunatley some of it getz taken out on you....if you really like her like u say you do...then make the effort and try to patch things up with her.....ur goin wit a group of 14 pplz...thats a lot of pplz....u don't have to talk to the ppl you don't like...plus at prom everyone goes there own separate way...u won't be stuck with them all nite....hope that was a little helpful at least....just make sure enjoy ur prom nite!!!

She jsut doesnt like the peer pressure and she is probably sorry taht she ever told that group of people, and she is unsure how her status at school will be after she goes out wtih you to the prom.
The girl you hate has been probably saying that she will be a loner or somehting wihc is not true

i know shes your dream girl but ask her straight up if shes monogomys and i dunno i would talk to her about it just be honest and ask her hoenstly
