I have four questions for all of you. Please try to answer them the best way you can!

1. My friends said that they had a boyfriend in 2, 3, and, 4th grade. How could that be?

2. Last year it seemed like I was really boy crazy but this year it seems like I only like a couple guys. Why is that?

3. I have never had a boyfriend before and I am 14. Does that mean that I am really weird and I will never get a boyfriend. In 3rd grade I did have a boy that came to my house all of the time and we would play together so I kinda call him my boyfriend.

4. When you have a boyfriend don't you have to go out with them outside of school and talk to them?

I'm 17 and I never have a girlfriend ..
I can't answer the questions, but I would say think before you do things.. Don't trust all guys..
I'm telling you that cuz I love girls and I think they are gift from god and we (boys) should defend them,

1. My friends said that they had a boyfriend in 2, 3, and, 4th grade. How could that be?
-their lieing and fooling you around or their just flirts or it is puupy love

2. Last year it seemed like I was really boy crazy but this year it seems like I only like a couple guys. Why is that?
-hormonal change, its normal. nothing to be alarmed of. dont worry about it.

3. I have never had a boyfriend before and I am 14. Does that mean that I am really weird and I will never get a boyfriend. In 3rd grade I did have a boy that came to my house all of the time and we would play together so I kinda call him my boyfriend.
-definitly NO! ur perfectly normal. im 18 and still have no boyfriend, never had and it dosent bother me. some are just late bloomers. and hay, we're YOUNG! there still lot of guys there when we become more mature. u will still have one, its not about the age. and ur friend may just be ur friend. a boyfriend is someone that you share a special bond in which only the 2 of u understands. its rather complicated. all i know is that he is just ur neighborhood guy, the guy next door.

4. When you have a boyfriend don't you have to go out with them outside of school and talk to them?
-yes! what's the useof hiding them? and why not talk to them? that's why u answered him, u want company and enjoy his company.

1. those were probably only elemetary level "boyfriends" where it's more of a crush than an actaul relationship

2. Because it's a lot of work to stay boy crazy and sometimes you jsut need ot take a break

3. I'm 14 too and have never had a real boyfriend. i don't think we're weird tho, i think it means the general male population is just taking a long time to realize they want a girlfriend

4. Totally. It's not a boyfriend if you only see him in school

In the 2,3,4 they are just close friends. What do you know about boys at that age. And now that you are getting more mature you are getting more comfortable with just a few boys because you know who you really want to be around. And at the age of 14 the girls call them boyfriends but the boys deny it because they want to talk to all the girls that they can and tell their friends that they have 5 & 6 girlfriends. Honey stay true to you and just do you and have friends and best friends not a boyfriend. I experience this from my own daughter.

1./ No that is not possible.
2./ The guys right now just aren't interesting enough for you (good for you for wanting some substance in them)
3./ You are sooo normal. You'll have a lot more fun in a girlfriend/boyfriend relationship if you wait. You can actually go out and do things!
4./ Yes, you have to go out and do things together if you are dating.

hi
well I had to think back and also think of my kids they are 9 and 12 going on 10 and 13

well as far as 2nd, 3rd and 4th its more like freindship crush and attention kind of thing, i dont think they went out on dates such as dancing and dinner and a movie ect, however they probably were freinds whom liked one another and spent time with one another such like you mentioned in your 3rd question perhaps that boy will either be your boyfreind in future or Best friend, I dont think their is anything wrong with have boys as friends or best friends , most of my friends are boys well men now, I am married,
my son now is in 6th grade& recently has a girl friend
my daughter says she has a couple of boys she likes one she calls boyfreind, but never has came to out house ect or gone anywhere yet, they talk on the school bus, ect, but I have seen alot of younger kids ages 10-13 dating, I wasnt aloud to date unless double date until i was 13, but i remember i had a couple of boyfreinds i guess I d call them that
we would go around the corner to have an ice cream we would go to my home and watch a movie or wrestling ect.
of course was pretty much supervised, and i have younger siblings as well that were always around,
lol
i would consider a boyfreind someone you have gone out with and went out on dates at least 3 or 4 times, and spent time with one another, i would call them a friend whom went out on a date one time or another if was just for a one date sort of thing, ect
or some people would call under 12 a play date, like going to the park with each other and a couple of freinds or basketball park ect,

to answer your other question of not having a boyfreind before age 14, being weird
NO WAY
not at all
you have your whole life ahead of you and if a boy likes you enough they will wait and also you have school work to concentrate on ect
good for you
and very good questions to ask
hope these answers helped
