some children came to my house for my sons birthday party. My husband is the one that knows the children mother, because she is like an aunt to my husband. The little boy was playing the game and when they went home i notice it was gone. I asked my husband to go get it from them and they denied it and you know that really hurt me so much because its my childs what should i do. I really don't want them to come anymore.

It will be difficult to prove that one of them took it even though it's possible. I would do a thorough search of the home to see if it was just misplaced. One day you might move the furniture and find it there. You are not in a position to really accuse anyone because you just don't know for sure. Otherwise, don't invite them to your home in the future because there will always be a cloud hanging over all of you after such an unpleasant incident.

Have the police come in and get it, those things are expensive. Those children had no right so you need to just go and get it. Make sure though that it wasn't just misplaced that does happen occationaly. I have had a similar situation and it ended up just being misplaced. I was so embarrased at myself, but anyway just a world of caution I am sure you are right.

first off, why does a 2 year old have a gameboy?
secondly, if your husband is open with it, go and tell their parents if they see it to let you know- stay friendly with the parents- it's not totally their fault the kid stole it
thirdly, if you find it, trade it in for a ball or a lock to keep him away from the TV too long or a bike

If they denied it and you can't prove they took it then there's really nothing else you can do.
If I were you, I would never allow them back in my house again.

Praise them, a 2 year old should not have a gameboy, he should have other activities that entertain him, not a gameboy.
