I have really blonde hair, and i want to dye it darker, but not too dark...maybe like a dirty blonde or something...does anyone have any suggestions on a good color? which brands would work best? thanks!

Hi! :) First, what kind of skin tone do you have? Do you have a pale, blue/red complexion? Or do you have more of a warmer yellow/orange complexion? You want to find the color that compliments that. If you want to go blonde, but a darker blonde, look for buttery and caramel colors. I would really get this done at a salon, have them color it a richer, deeper blonde, then add darker lowlights in your hair for depth. I hope it turns out amazing for you!!!

My advice to you would to use Clairol's natrual instincs in coastal dune aka dark blond or linen aka med. ash blond.
or just 1-2 shades darker in that brand than your normal hair color. If you use this kind of color you won't get the roots like you would w/ a perminet and it'll boost your hair health naturaly! So go on a try it! It's great! Worked 4 me, should work 4u! Good Luck!

For the love of GOD don't try to do this on your own. Natural blonde hair is very porous and doesn't take a virgin coloring evenly - the ends suck up color and go darker than midshaft and new growth. Plus, you will end up with some off color like tan or green.
Get reverse hilites with a darker color, and get the underneath done a solid darker color. And get it done professionally.

i would recommend a nice golden brown with some more definate highlights of the colour of your choice like, darker brown or a brighter red.

Since your hair is already blonde you'll probably want to go with a darker shade of whatever shade you pick out. The hair is already light the dark color wont take very well

it depends what your skin tone is. Tan skin is good with Light brown hair. Fair skin is good with caramel hair I think. Dark skin is good with dark hair.
