I like Cocoa... but then you could call her CoCo after the famous french designer CoCo Chanel. Or just "Chanel" which I like a lot, too.

Then as a variation on Chanel, you could call her Chantal... which is also french. Very pretty.

"The girl's name Chantal is pronounced shahn-TELL. It is of Old French origin, and its meaning is "stone".

Chantal has 14 variant forms: Chantalle, Chantel, Chantele, Chantell, Chantelle, Chantrell, Chauntel, Shantal, Shantalle, Shantel, Shantell, Shantelle, Shontel and Shontelle.

Baby names that sound like Chantal are Chandel, Shontal and Shantahl."

Also you could call her something soft like Cashmere or Velvet.

Have fun with your new girl!

OMG! my grandma has a poodle. ADORABLE! You might look into these names, they are the ones from earlier dogs my grandmother had.

Scout (she has this one currently, shes white though and a girl.), Mandy (white also, died at age of 18 in people years.), and Taffy (died at age of 16, white too, but names work with a lot of colors.)

Enjoy them while they are small. My grandmas isnt big, but is bigger than when we got her. I adore my grandmas! LOL

I always liked the name Josephine...There's a book about a little black poodle with that name. The literary Josephine is a very intelligent, pampered pooch; you could use Josie for short.
