my daughter just turned one. We were taking a trip to pick up her birthday cake about 1/2 hr away. she started to throw up in the car on the way home
she threw up 3 or 4 times.. When i got home i called her doctor and she said that it could have been motion sickness. My feeling is she is too young for that. When we got home we started her on pedialite and water she held that down, and no fever.
then she had some jello, and pasta for dinner all that she held down. So my question is motion sickness or stomach bug??? Her big 1 st birthday is tom should i cancell it??

It could be many things. My daughter went through a stage like that. She would always throw up in the car while I was driving. It had NOTHING to do with a virus or motion sickness. She was highly sensitive to pollen and dust. The car air filter hold a lot of both. We had to replace the air filter and put HEPA filters in the air vents that blow into the car. If you had a very high concentration on allergans in the air the past couple of days, it might have been just enough to make her sick.
If if were a stomach bug, she'd still be sick. I think that everything will be fine.
Good luck and Happy First Birthday to your daughter!!

Well if she is holding everything down she is probably just fine. Babies actually get motion sickness more than adults do really. No one is to young for motion sickness. To she could have gotten choked on her on spit or was coughing and it happened that way. As long as she is not throwing up in the morning and seems to be happy and fine, I would not worry and go ahead with the party. I know how dissappointing it can be to plan these things. If she is sick don't fret it, she want remember anyway, and you can always replan the party.

no don't cancell, It probably was motion sickness or the wrong combination of foods, or possibly a bad scent.
