Ok so i am 13 years old and a lot of girls like me, I've matured already but most of the other people my age haven't. I don't want to have a girlfriend because its just stupid middle school puppy love. All of my other friends have girlfriends and they are always like i love you to them but then 2 days later they break up and get another girlfriend in that same week and tell the new g/f i love u and all that other BS. All my friends are like c'mon get a girlfriend don't be a p*$*y but my point that is i'm not and i have absolutely no problem talking to girls and i always flirt with girls n fool around with them but i think its stupid to be in a relationship w/ them. am i just more mature then them? but honestly, whats the point of having a g/f at this age these girls are barely physically developed. i can see when im 15 or 16 but not now.all these kids r like i love u soooo much after goin out for 2 days...yea i dont think u can fall in love that fast. who else agrees?

I am so proud of you!! I agree, at 13 you are so young to be caught up in the whole i love you mess! you should just enjoy your youth and focus on school (that is the most important thing right now) Girls will come and go even when your in your 20's... so why worry about it now... Just have "safe" fun.. and keep your head in the books!!

do no longer do it because of the fact as quickly as she enters intense college you don't be attentive to if she would have the capacity to get yet another guy or in her age bracket. It in simple terms seems exciting for a woman to have a guy older than her then some guy walks alongside in her grade and she or he's like oh he's sooo cute. i've got seen all of it too nicely.

Yeah i agree and your friends are just acting like normal teenage boys. Its good that your mature because you can actually see what silly boys they are. If you dont wanna start going out with people yet then dont.

ture there little man my ex girl after the first day of me and her "being together" said i love u to me. i was like wat. but later i found out that i did love her. its just ur "friends" they want to be like that be able to say "i love u". but its bull that they throw words like that around. ur smart from this thing. ur mature. u dont need a girlfriend cause of them. if they call u a p*$$y just say "well when u break up wit ur girlfriend dont come crying to me." i dont want a girlfriend really cause they seem like expensive. but there is this one girl i like alot. so i say when u think there is someone u really like then u should go and start "dating". but feelings can betray u fast.

completely agree, they don't know what love is at that age, and congrats to you for waiting a while... I guess the only thing that middle school dating is good for is getting some practice, but they never really go anywhere...

i think they should grow up go through puberty and mature before they date.
plus it isn't considered DATING because none of them can drive lol

NO I DON'T AGREE WITH IT. THEY CANNOT DRIVE AND MAKE DECISIONS FOR THEMSELVES THEY DON'T PAY BILLS AND STILL DO KIDDY CHORES. THEY ARE CHILDREN AND SHOULD LIVE AS CHILDREN. 17 is a good age to start. I was 18.
