I used to be smart. I used to get straight A's. I used to do homework and study. Now I'm just this useless piece of crap that just does nothing. My parents always thought I was stupid even when I got good grades, now i really am stupid. I'm so lazy. Whats happened to me?

You are certainly not stupid or lazy, but you do sound depressed. Once you are smart, you can't stop being smart, but if you are depressed you can temporarily lose your ability to concentrate.
It might very well have to do with your parents. You say they always thought you were stupid even when you were proving them wrong by getting straight As. With that attitude, they are not only not helping you, but truly causing you harm.
You might need counseling to get through this. Is there anybody at school that can refer you to free counseling services? You deserve the help you need.

-Are you taking classes you enjoy? If not, consider changing classes to something you're interested in.
-Do you do your homework? Fs can bring your GPA down a lot.
-Do you pay attention in class? Look straight at the teacher.
Listen to every word he or she says.
-Are you taking notes? Record or write down anything and everything.
-How often do you study? Just ten minutes a night is enough time to go through some flash cards or read over your notes.
-Do you have many distractions? Try to go to the library or some other quiet place to do your work or study.
-Do you understand the subjects? If you're having trouble grasping the concept, get a tutor. They can offer a different style of teaching that you might understand better than the style of your teacher(s).

Well you need to take a break. Relax your brain - mentally socially and physically. Pay attention in the class. While studying just concentrate on what you are reading. Don't let your mind roam while studying. Maintain a time table for studying, playing, watching TV and all that stuff. It will help you a lot. And lastly my very own funda. Don't study late at night. When your eyelids start getting heavy just get to bed. You can always study early in the morning. Best of Luck!

There could be several reasons. Are you doing drugs? Has something else happened to you inside or outside the school? Are you depressed?
Any of these can lead to apathy and lack of motivation. Being put down by one's parents can also have a detrimental effect.
The fact that you say you feel like crap indicates low self esteem.

You are to be commended for your honesty. If what you say is true, then something is going on. You're the only one that can tell yourself what that is.
Did something happen? Are you upset or trying to get even?
We all make mistakes and get out of the groove, but it's possible to get focused again and pull out of the pits.
Even if you're failing now, pick one thing you can do. And work on that one thing. Such as I'm going to take notes. Or I'm going to do homework. You pick the one thing, but keep to it. You'll be surprised how well you do.

Well, do you spend a lot of time on the computer? Are you putting forth the effort to doing good in school?
Try avoiding all distractions, i.e. the computer, myspace, aim, etc.
Get studying and stay afterschool to have teachers help you.

properly in 6th grade english(i replaced into failing each type because it replaced into yet this tale is humorous) i desperate to do my artwork! yet with a twist, i might do numerous those extensive papers and tough assignments yet with my very very own perspectives. Like i had to study a e book for 1 / 4 then do a paper on the e book and learn and evaluation characters and all that exciting stuff yet i stuff the paper with swear words like the f word a hollow b i t c h, and many those words yet taking the paper heavily and 3 days as quickly as we had became it interior the instructor study it out loud to the class(she replaced into black) and he or she replaced into cool adequate to study it out to the whole type and he or she stated each word like"They have been trapped in this stupid ******* island with some Ho mo biscuits and a touch cat that p i s s ed and s h i t each the place" i presumed it replaced into humorous because of the fact she universal my artwork yet by no skill as quickly as gave me credit for them(and that i by no skill have been given suspended for my swear words interior the paper. all the different training i might merely sleep in or flick rubber bands at my technology instructor and make each and all the youngsters ill by way of turning on the gasoline lol. So get ingenious and fail thoughs training!!!

stop focussing on one thing and focuss on studing stay up all night if you have to and have confidence just believe in your self
