My parents think that I am not into boys because I don't talk about boys to them. I am 14 and have never had a boyfriend but I do have crushes on a few guys. I just don't feel comfortable talking to my parents about boys I like. I only feel comfortable talking about guys to my friends and sometimes my grandma ( I know that sounds weird). I just don't want my parents to think that I am a freak because I am not interested in guys when I really am. And is it weird that I have never had a boyfriend before?

You're completely normal and it's not weird that you haven't had a boyfriend, you're only 14... what is weird is that your parents would think you're not into boys just because you don't talk about them... that's what's weird. If you don't feel comfortable talking to them about it, then don't. And if they start aggravating you about boys, just tell them that you're not comfortable with talking to them about it.

Hi
I am in this exact same position. I am 14, have never had a boyfriend, have a MAJOR crush on someone and I don't feel comfortable talking to my parents about this sort of stuff.
Wow, what a small world!

I definitely don't think it's weird that you haven't had a boyfriend yet. I'm not just saying that because I'm in your position too, but I think it's best to wait for someone who does mean alot.

It's really upto you whether you talk to your parents or not, but if you really like one guy in particular, tell him if you're comfortable with telling him :)
I told the guy I like, and we aren't going out but we have become really good friends and we tell eachother everything.

Best of luck!

Well if you don't feel comfortable talking to them about it, I would say it is their fault, they should have made you feel comfortable enough to talk to them about these kinds of things.

No, it is not strange that you have never had a boyfriend, you will have one when the right one comes along =)

once in a while my mom will test me and be lk "hes cute, isnt he kris?" its just awkward. how do your bring guys up? also, in the past i have brought them up and it has been really awkward only ending in "youre too young." but im older now. i dont know what to do, but i just htought id let you know youre not alone! best of luck!
