Beatitude means blessed or happy. At the time of Jesus, those who were suffering or sick or poor were looked down upon by the Jews who saw this as a result of sin from either the person who was poor or sick or suffering or from the results of the sin of some ancestor of theirs.
Jesus wanted the poor, sick and suffering to know that God was with them and that they were not being punished especially for some sin someone else committed.

1 a: a state of utmost bliss b— used as a title for a primate especially of an Eastern church
2: any of the declarations made in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:3–11) beginning in the Authorized Version “Blessed are”
Because they need blessing and i don't know the other cause i'm not christian

It means a state of happiness. "Blessed" is translated "happy" in other more modern translations.
Jesus is contradicting the prevailing thought. And if you observe people today, those who eem to have everything going for them are certainly not any happier than others.

I see enough answers to your first question, as to why he gave them, it seems that everyone of his faith were thinking only of themselves, not realizing or careing about the good in others, the Bs, bring out that there are a multitude of blessings when they step away from the selfish thoughts.
