This girl I have been dating is a good girl and knows I'm a bad boy. She wants me to go to church with her and has been asking me to go since the beginning. She is VERY religious and God is important to her and she wants someone that shares her beliefs.
She also does not like the fact that I carry a gun or drink, etc.
If I don't change she won't pursue anything long term with me and is going out with me now because I told her I would go to church with her eventually. But I'm worried that if I do go to church she has tamed me enough to lose interest. The guns stay no matter what and I think she can deal with that but church is important to her so if I go will she lose interest because her bad boy is now partly a good boy?

First off, bad boys dont tell people they are 'bad boys'.
But anyway, this is life. Thats why you should have two or three girls on the line at once, so you can 'next' her quickfast and she sees you out with the other girl that same weekend.
You dont need this. Be a man.

If she wants you to go to church, then she probably wants you to be partly a good boy. I would recommend, if you really like her and you want to stay with her, to go to church as a favor for her. You don't need to change in church; you can still be your bad ol' self, but even showing up at church will make her happy.

don't change who you are to be with someone, thats just lowering your own standards. Well if you don't mind going to church for her, then its fine if you do that. But dont do seomthing that you feel like she's forcing you to do. I really don't think you two will last long at all. Eventually you two will break up because you guys are two completely opposite people. VERY religious girls + bad boys = dont mix.

I think people get into a relationship and base it on how they can change this person way to much. I wish i could stress here that when you start dating someone its because of who they were when you started seeing them. Why do we want to get involved with someone that we just have to change after we got them. I believe people only change there minds. That is why i always say search someone deep before you get involved and if you dont feel you can deal with there faults then dont get involved with them.

She may not see it as "taming" you. If you go, and give a real honest chance, it might actually make you closer.

If you said you're going to change for her then do it. If she decides that she doesn't want you after that then it wasn't meant to be and you're probably better off.
