Your brother is about thisclose to burning the entire house down along with your family.
First thing I'd do is check to make sure the smoke detectors are working (or did he take the battery out for his toy?) and THEN I would smack him upside the head. And THEN I'd make sure I review fire escape procedures with the entire family....Show mom you're seriously concerned about the little firebug.
PS-- MOM should know better---doesnt she watch the news? Most fires are caused by little brats playing with matches, etc.

i believe that those 'little bumps' are going to be 'little blisters'. Minor Burn Injury 1. Soak the burn in cool water for 15 minutes. 2. Apply cool cloth to the burn for a few minutes each day. 3. Apply BurnRx (see below) to the burn and cover it with a dressing or bandage. 4. Re-apply burn with BurnRx to promote healing. 5. Apply topical antibiotic to the burn to prevent infection if necessary. 6. If necessary, take over-the-counter pain medication to control pain. 7. If burn pain, redness, swelling persists or if there are signs of infection see a physician. Cool The Burn: Use lots of COOL water. Be creative. You can use wet towels - this works well for cooling areas that cannot be immersed in a tub. (Be sure youre-wet the towels often as they will get warm.) Garden hoses, bathtubs, rivers, streams, whatever you can get to. A word of caution: DO NOT USE ICE OR ICE WATER ON ANYTHING OTHER THAN A MINOR BURN! It will cause body heat loss. 3. Cover The Burn It seems like the last thing you would want to do if you have just burned yourself, but it works. It will keep air from entering the wound; this will help to alleviate the pain and prevent infection. Use a dry sterile dressing or a clean cloth and loosely bandage in place. ** DO-NOTS - Do not apply ice to a burn unless it is VERY minor. - Do not touch the burn with anything other than a dressing. - DO NOT BREAK BLISTERS! anywho. an answer to your question. he can wear shoes if he wants- but make sure you help him wrap up his foot with sterile gauze/dressings- use an ankle wrap bandage or whatever to keep it all in place- but dont make any of these dressings too tight. snug is ok. not tight.

Sounds like your mom needs to go get some real live DVDs for fire starter to give him a wake up call of the consequences that playing with fire can cause if he doesn't stop playing with fire.

So whats your question? He'll learn to leave it alone when he burns his *** or when he sets your house on fire. Then he'll think twice about it next time.

You need to tell him that fires are dangerous and go to www.youtube.com and search fires and maybe they'll show some and he can learn his lesson.
