I've had my retainer for over a year. I've practically have worn it every single night that I've had it. Should I still be wearing it every night if lately it's been bothering me ("Mouth" question on Answer was mine also)?

You should ask your orthodontist... after a year you should be able to wear it every other night. You could also tlak to your orthodontist about getting a permanent retainer which is a wire that they glue to the back of your front 6 teeth on the bottom and the top 4 on the top. They arent noticible and you dont have to go through the hassle of remembering to put in your retainer. Do NOT just stop wearing your retainer, because if if you think they wont your teeth will move! And it hurts realllllllyyyy bad to put your retainer back in if you havent worn it in awhile. I forgot to bring mine on a 2 week vacation we went on and when i got home it was so tight that when i tried to push it up to the roof of my mouth the plastic cracked!
