My daughter is 7. She had eczema as a child, but hasn't had an outbreak in 2 years. That was also only on her face. She is also up to date on all vacinations and even had a secondary outbreak of chicken pox at age 5. The spots itch and she does break them open from itching. Does anybody have any ideas? Do I take her to the dr. or is this eczema?

Ask your doctor to set you up with a dermatologist. When my daughter was two the doctor said she had eczema it never itch. I tried everything nothing worked. A relative that was a pediatrician said she had Keratosis Pilaris. My daughter is now 4 and a half it's on her arms, back of her legs and a little bit on her face. The doctor told me that my daughter is allergic to pine and cedar trees which my husband is allergric to. It worst in the summer.

My 6 year old developed pimple like lesions on her
torso last fall. They didnt really bother her, she said
the only itched sometimes. (I never saw her scratching).
After they didnt go away, I contacted her pediatrician
and made an appointment. She was diagnosed with :

Molluscum contagiosum
"This common viral infection most often affects young children, who pass it to each other through saliva".

The 2nd link is a picture similar to what my daughters
look like, but my daughters lesions are fewer in number and spread out. They are most on her torso, legs and arms.

She still has the condition, which the doctor said can last
as little as few weeks to as much as a few years.

"The lesions often heal without treatment, although physicians may sometimes scrape them off or treat them with chemical irritants".

Not sure if this helps, but good luck all the same

You may want to see if her doctor will run an ANA on her. This usually tells if she has a low auto immune system. I had a similar on my back and stomach that was off and on for years. I later found out that I have Lupus. Since then I have been using a product I found on ebay called Carley's clear and smooth. UNBELIEVABLE!!! I wish I had known about it when I was younger and a teen too!

I have no affiliation to the company. Just a firm believe in the product that works!!

Good Luck!!

My nephew had the same symptoms, when he got tested at the hospital it turned out he had a allergy. Get baby tested at the hospital, I think she is probably allergic to a type of food you are giving her.
