Not a bad idea. Mikey is such a lover, he needs to follow Darrel's lead and know when it is time to hang it up and go to the booth!

I think that Toyota is going to regret being a car manufacturer in NASCAR and wish they had just stayed in trucks where they can at least compete. I mean Michael Waltrip racing has 3 drivers, Michael Waltrip has qualified for one race-Daytona, and he got 15th and intentionally cheated, yet Jeff Gordon qualified 7th, won the duel race, got 4th, and failed post race inspection due to his car being to low, because of a part failure caused by a bolt not being installed right making his car unsafe more then likely and that was unintensional and he started 42nd. How stupid is that? Then their is Dale Jarrett who hasnt qualified for a race on his own and has used his championship provisionals for the first 3 races, and you can use it a total of 6 times the entire season. I figured he would save them for the big races like Bristol, Talladega, Daytona, Indy, Charlotte, as those are more important then some of the tracks hes used it at so far. Dave Blaney is the only one who is actually have a decent season so far as his cars seem to be the best out of the bunch. Then their is Brian Vickers and A.J Allmendinger and Brian only qualified for California and finsihed in the top 10 or 15. Jeremy Mayfield is also racing Toyotas and isnt doing very well either. None of them are making races, Toyota is losing money, so everyone knew they would stuggle but I dont think that they thought it would be this bad. Doubt they will be their next year.

Interesting thought. I don't think it will happen any time soon though. Toyota has more money than God. Plus they knew this would be an uphill battle. Both Toyota and Waltrip Racing seem committed to a long term plan, and they are only starting.
Just watch what happens when all the ducks get in line, and they figure everything out. They will be competitive just like in the trucks, then you'll be singing a different tune...

I would not say that Toyota is going to dump Waltrip anytime soon. Toyota is going to stick it out with the teams they have for at least the next 5 years.
As far as the teams qualifying for races that can be a little misleading.
A.J. Allmendinger had a qualifying speed of 179.964 that was 35th fastest yet he is not in the race and Jon Wood is in the race with a Qualifying speed of 175.873.
Toyota teams just are not fighting an uphill battle with their setups and engines, they are also fighting the top 35 rule. Qualifying in Nascar isnt who happens to be quickest its all about the top 35 everyone else can go home for all Nascar cares.

I guess You didnt notice or, if You just dont like Michael Waltrip but, only a couple of TOYOTAS, made the field and, Dale Jarrett, got in on a provisional. TOYOTA, just got in the series and, probably wont be very good for, about a year and, a half. they cant afford to "DUMP", anybody.

Mikey and Dale, I don't think so!
Where did Toyota get the idea? hmm
Mikey is calling this his, if I were Toyota, I let him have it. He has made Toyota look like himself: A JOKE

Well I doubt they will just drop him, but they definitely need to put some effort into getting one of the good, established teams to switch to Toyota, which wont be easy.

Too many cars at one time for a new team. The R&D for the power plant was slow and the overall development of the stockcar program is not where it should be and if it does not pick up shortly there could be 3 drivers out of rides.
