Are men who grow up in Muslim countries more prone to having gay experiences?

Question

A serious question. Since women are not as "readily available" as they are in the west, does this breed a type of homosexuality not known in Western countries unless one is incarcerated?

I have a gay friend who makes frequent trips to Morocco - hence the question. Please don't kill the messenger - really curious about your thoughts.

I seriously doubt that. Any sex outside of marriage is forbidden. If a Muslim man wanted to have a sexual experience there are women we all know the kind who belong to the oldest profession that can oblige. Even that i doubt. If you only knew how Muslim men are raised and what Islam teaches you would know it is just laughable. Muslim men stay virgins till marriage and some men i know are in there 30's and still waiting, they dont think like western men and are repulsed at the thought of pre martial sex for Muslims its not about the act. To commit a sin with a man in Islam is something that i find a joke. Sure no one is saying there are not gay Muslim men there are as is there in any society but to suggest Muslim men are having gay experiences because women are not readily available is ridiculous. For Muslims Allah is all seeing and all knowing to suggest a man who is devout in his beliefs would do such a thing............well if you knew Muslim men then the very question you would not have asked.

Considering in some parts of the Middle East and Asia/Africa, it's punishable by DEATH, I seriously doubt that ALL Muslim countries are like that. However, I could see where the more tolerable ones could be slightly-favorable for us, yes. o.o;
